This has been one of many integral parts to the GenR8 events and we are fortunate to have a close association with Northstar - run by Shelley Dring - which provides workshops on using movement and dance in the sphere of worship and creative expression.
GenR8 has a good history of using dance and movement in its events (along with many other creative means of expressing our worship) and this collaboration between GenR8 and Northstar continues to prove a wonderful aspect of our events.
Some of what Northstar provides is visible in our events, but much more information will be available on the Northstar webpages here as we update them.

Shelley is running a workshop on using movement in worship in a GenR8.space event on Saturday 5th February (10.30am - 12noon). If you have ever wanted to try worshipping through movement, dance, ribbons and flags, or any other physical expression then come along and Shelley will guide you through it. This is a really great opportunity to try it out - don't forget to invite your friends! Email us to register your interest and look out for details in GenR8 News and in the churches!
